Everything you need to know about shipping, delivery, exchanges and returns.

Shipping

Shipping destinations

We ship to practically anywhere in the world from our facilities in the Canary Islands. We work to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition and as quickly as possible.

Delivery times

We prepare each order within 1 to 5 business days from the moment you place your order. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday; we do not ship on weekends or public holidays.

Delivery times are calculated from the moment your order leaves our store in Fuerteventura and you receive your tracking number by email, not from the moment of purchase. Estimated delivery times by destination are as follows:

  • Canary Islands — 3 to 5 business days
  • Mainland Spain — 7 to 10 business days
  • Balearic Islands — 10 to 15 business days
  • European Union — 10 to 15 business days
  • Rest of the world — 15 to 20 business days

Please note that these timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on customs processing, carrier logistics and the final destination. During collection launches or Black Friday campaigns, both preparation and delivery times may be extended by up to 10 additional business days due to order volume.

Shipping costs

Shipping within Spain costs €5, to the rest of Europe €10 and for international destinations outside Europe €15. We do not offer free shipping unless as part of a specific promotion communicated in advance.

Carriers

All our shipments are handled through Correos de España, with whom we work to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. For international orders, once the package leaves Spain, final delivery is carried out by Correos' partner carrier in the destination country: Poste Italiane in Italy, La Poste in France, CTT in Portugal and DHL in Germany, among others.

We are not responsible for delays caused by these carriers once the package leaves our facilities.

Order tracking

Once your order leaves our store, you will automatically receive an email with your tracking number. You can check the status of your shipment at any time directly on the Correos website.

Order delivery

Correos will make up to two delivery attempts at the address you provided. If delivery was not possible on either attempt, the package will be held at the nearest Correos office to your address for approximately 14 days for you to collect. If the package has not been collected within that period, it will be returned to our facilities and we will contact you to confirm your address and arrange redelivery.

If your order appears as delivered on the Correos website but you have not received it, write to us at info@makhoulswimwear.com within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the delivery date shown, including your order number, the date shown as delivered and as much information as possible so we can handle the claim with the carrier. After this period, we will assume the order was delivered correctly.

Taxes and customs

We are based in the Canary Islands, a territory with a special tax regime different from the rest of Spain and the European Union. This means that all orders we ship outside the Canary Islands, whether to mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands or other European countries, are subject to a customs clearance process at destination and may involve the payment of import VAT, customs duties or other charges.

These costs are not included in the product price or shipping costs and are entirely the customer's responsibility. If the customer refuses the order at customs or fails to complete the necessary procedures, we will not be responsible for the package or any costs incurred.

Damaged package

If at the time of delivery you notice that the package is open, wet, stained or visibly damaged, please refuse it and do not accept it. Write to us immediately at info@makhoulswimwear.com, including your order number in the subject line and describing the condition of the package. We will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange the shipment of a new package in perfect condition.

Incomplete or defective order

If upon opening the package you notice that the item is defective or that the item received does not match what you ordered, write to us at info@makhoulswimwear.com within a maximum of 14 calendar days of receiving the order. Include your order number in the subject line and attach photos or a video of the packaging and the item. The more information you provide, the faster we can resolve the issue. After 14 days without notification, we will assume the order arrived in perfect condition.

Exchanges & Returns

Exchanges

We accept size and model exchanges within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. Items purchased at a discount or during special campaigns such as Black Friday are not eligible for exchange, as they are part of a stock clearance sale.

For an exchange to be accepted, the item must arrive at our facilities in perfect condition: unworn, unwashed and unaltered, with the hygienic liner intact in its original position. Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted.

To initiate the process, write to us at info@makhoulswimwear.com with your order number in the subject line, detailing the item you wish to exchange and the new item you would like to receive. Our team will respond within 24 to 72 business hours with confirmation and the necessary instructions to continue. During collection launches, response times may be extended up to 5 business days.

Once your request is approved, send the item to the address we provide, including inside the package a note with your full name, order number and the new item requested. If shipping from Spain, we recommend using Correos via Certified Letter, which includes a tracking number. If shipping from outside Spain, use a courier service with a mandatory tracking number. Once sent, forward your proof of postage to info@makhoulswimwear.com.

Once we receive the item and verify it meets all the required conditions, we will send the new item to you.

Returns

We accept returns within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. Items purchased at a discount or during special campaigns such as Black Friday are not eligible for return, as they are part of a stock clearance sale.

For a return to be accepted, the item must arrive at our facilities in perfect condition. We do not accept returns in the following cases:

  • Items that have been worn, washed or damaged
  • Personalised items
  • Items whose hygienic liner has been removed, tampered with or is missing

To initiate the process, log into your account, select the item you wish to return and submit your return request following the steps indicated. You will receive an email with the shipping instructions. Once approved, send the package to the address we provide, including a note with your full name and order number. If shipping from Spain, we recommend using Correos via Certified Letter. If shipping from outside Spain, use a courier service with a mandatory tracking number. Once sent, forward your proof of postage to info@makhoulswimwear.com.

Return shipping costs are entirely the customer's responsibility, as well as any customs or handling fees for international orders. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Responsibility for the shipment lies with the customer until the package reaches our facilities. In the event of loss or damage during transit, the claim must be handled directly with the chosen courier.

Refund

Once we receive the item and verify it meets all the required conditions, we will process the refund using the same payment method used for the original purchase. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.

The refund process may take up to 14 calendar days from the date we receive the item. Once issued, the amount may take a further 5 to 10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank.
